Physical Therapy

Why receive physical therapy?

Physical therapy is a powerful tool for treating and preventing injuries, diseases, or disabilities. The non-invasive treatments can reduce pain, improve mobility and speed up the rehabilitation process. This all is for the goal of getting you back to work, your hobbies, and your life as quickly as possible.

What can I expect?

The therapist and patient will be working together to reduce pain. A comprehensive program will be designed for you which may include posture analysis, gait scan, suggestions for altering daily activities, and exercises for stretching and strengthening. This rehabilitation is complementary to chiropractic because it helps maintain the gains made through these modalities.

Physical therapy is used to treat a wide variety of conditions:

  • Reduce pain and increase mobility after injury, disease, or surgery
  • Re-establish ability to do day-to-day tasks
  • Provide recommendations to workplaces to reduce injuries
  • Design a preventative program for an athlete
  • Assist in beginning an exercise program
